Random Number Generator

Random numbers in any range, dice rolls and coin flips — drawn with the browser's cryptographic random generator, the same source your device uses for security tokens.

Example — Roll two six-sided diceEach die and the total, shown separately

How we got it — the example, step by step

  1. Each die is an independent draw from 1 to 6, using the browser's cryptographic random generator with rejection sampling, so every face is equally likely — no weighted shortcut.

Check it backwards

The check on a random tool is the count: the dice shown always add to the total shown, and coin flips always account for every flip (heads + tails = flips).

Questions people also ask

Are the results really random?
They come from crypto.getRandomValues, the operating system's cryptographic random source — the strongest randomness a web page can use. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere; reload and the numbers are gone.
