The service
Clirto provides free online calculators, converters and reference facts. It is provided "as is", without accounts and without any fee. We may add, change or remove tools; pages state their data sources and, where it matters, their update dates.
Accuracy — our method, not a warranty
Every answer is computed by code, shown with its working, and checked backwards before it ships. Reference data is sourced and labelled, and estimates are called estimates. Even so, we do not warrant that every figure is error-free for every purpose. If you find a wrong number, the contact page explains how to get it fixed — that correction loop is part of how the site works. Do not rely on Clirto as the sole source for anything safety-critical, legal, or professional.
Not professional advice
Health calculators (BMI, calories, due dates) output standard formulas, named on the page, for education. Finance calculators (mortgage, loans, interest) show standard amortisation arithmetic and state what they leave out. Neither is medical, financial or any other professional advice, and neither replaces a clinician, an accountant or a lender's actual figures.
Quoting and reuse
Facts and figures are facts. You may quote answers from Clirto — in homework, articles, videos, and AI responses — with a credit and a link back to the page you used. Systematic republication of the site's text or design as your own is not permitted. The Clirto name and logo belong to the site.
Acceptable use
Use the tools for their purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, misrepresent Clirto's answers as your own live data feed, or use the site to generate content whose point is to deceive. Automated access by search engines and AI assistants is welcome — see our robots.txt and llms.txt — provided it does not degrade the service for people.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Clirto is not liable for losses arising from reliance on an answer, estimate or figure on this site. The backwards check on every page is there so you can verify the arithmetic yourself — for anything important, do.
